Excellent patient care service from the front desk to the Imaging Technicians. All personnel were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Nice warm blanket was provided to stave off the chill in the air before and during procedure. Eye covering was also provided for a Calming effect (help for patients who experience claustrophobia in MRI tube)
It's recommended patients hydrate especially if they receive an IV contrast. But patients are no longer being provided with a bottle of water and it seems the peanut butter/cheese crackers have also been discontinued. Disappointing. Would have given 5 stars
We were referred here by the Mayo clinic for an Endoscopy. Suspected Esophageal Cancer. We called as we left the mayo clinic with the worst news of our life and managed to get an appointment for the next day. That was great. We met Megan Smith. I commend her on her upbeat and positive manner. She made us feel like we had a chance and got us where we needed to go. She gave us good info and really made us feel how much she cared. Thank you Megan. Dr Changela also deserves our gratitude and appreciation for his dedication to us. He performed the EDG and biopsy. He also came in strictly to do my fathers stint procedure on a holiday weekend when rightfully should have been celebrating his holiday or enjoying his time off. What a blessing it was to find these folks at Borland Groover. Thank you. You made the worst 10 days of our family's life as tolerable as possible.
Terrible experience. Never have I seen such incompetence. Dr. Did an endoscopy without the results of an xray that she prescribed. PA was supposed to call in prescription for reduction of medication. Never happened. Got billed three times for three procedures and billing dept Never billed my supplemental insurance. Had to call them every time. Horrible...
Impossible to find a better staffed, better maintained, clean and accessible medical facility in all of North Florida.
Not only is the building itself & surrounding property clean, secure & easy to access, it is actually quite stunning.
The entire staff of Borland Groover, from me the front door receptionist to every Assistant, Nurse and Doctor, every one of them is always Pleasant, helpful, patient and friendly.
Will be going for my 3rd colonoscopy in 15 years next week, and I have zero concerns..

my old GI dr retired or else i’d give a 5 star review because he was amazing. However, I am now seeing Dr Bharat who is very dismissive and talks over you.
This is my second time seeing this doctor and the first visit was no different than my recent. I could not explain my concerns fully because he’d speak over me. When/if i tried to speak over him, he’d just speak louder to get his point across.
He diagnosed me several months ago, none of the medication prescribed worked for me. Came back in the office yesterday since symptoms have gotten worse over the past few months and he diagnosed me with the same thing I was diagnosed with the first time i saw him. I wake up in pain EVERY SINGLE DAY and he just dismisses everything I say to him
I was asked to get a drs note from him since I haven’t been able to work since my health has depleted and he declined writing that note. I have been to the hospital weekly due to health issues. he is not helpful & very careless. I feel as if I am not taken serious since I am so young but my hospital records say otherwise. I will be looking for a different doctor. I will say, the staff was amazing and very respectful.
Although I like Dr Linda Diteodoro very much, she never has availability and doesn't communicate much with her patients. I have a complex case and was forced to see her PA, Paola Gonzalez for a follow up, if I didn't want to wait 3 months. I have so much going on in my body that doesn't make sense and Paola interrupted me three times in the 5 mins I had to speak to her. She had an agenda that she wanted checked off and didn't listen to me the patient at all. She focused on scheduling the colonoscopy, not my concerns. I even showed her a lab that clearly showed a low lab marker and she dismissed it because she didn't see it or was in so much of a rush, she didn't care to look, but it was right in front of her. This wasn't a dialogue, but her talking at me.
When people don't feel good and have had health issues for a long time those 5-15 mins are the only chance we have to get out our concerns. I recommend all to avoid her if you actually want your concerns addressed. I still have all the questions and concerns I had going in, but now have a colonoscopy scheduled which I may or may not need. Since Dr Diteodoro is never available either, this might be a skip all together.
I also asked to be able to communicate all this privately through email, but there is no way to communicate directly with your Dr here. They always direct you to a nurse. We pay a lot for these services and insurance to only have access to a gi Dr twice a year for 15 mins and only be able to speak for 5 mins being cut off the whole time. Do better Borland Groover! Hire more Dr's, so they actually can spend time with their patients and not have to pass off to pa's.
I didn't have the best first experience so far, but the supervisor Tammy reached out and was very helpful and rectified the main issues I had.
Doctors overall seem to be skilled, but some of the customer service reps could use additional training in proper patient communication.
I am giving a 2 because the endoscopy center personnel were great. The reason for only a 2 is that I had to wait for 6 months to have an endoscopy despite GI history. At the 6 month mark they cancelled and rescheduled two months later. The endoscopy found cancer that may not have formed if I had been seen and treated promptly. Then after endoscopy there was no follow up despite contacting the doctor twice with concernes. My access to the m portal was cancelled after I complained. I do not recommend BG for GI care. Find someplace better.
